Business visit to the Ulyanovsk region

Sergey Nabeshko, CEO of the Minsk department of the BelCCI, took part in a business visit to Ulyanovsk region as a member of the Belarusian delegation headed by Vladimir Kukharev, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The visit’s main purpose was to participate in the VII meeting of the joint working group on the development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Ulyanovsk region. An agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Ulyanovsk region was signed dealing with trade relations, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation for the period of 2025-2026.

Vladimir Kukharev, Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, noted the successful implementation of the tasks under the previous agreement. He said that it's important to co-ordinate our actions, to figure out where we can work together to get plans in place as quickly as possible. Ulyanovsk Region has a very high industrial potential, good human resources, which allows us to solve many issues. We are also ready to do everything necessary to work on the topics fr om today's meeting. In particular, we agreed that we will work on training specialists, exchange experiences in various areas’. The Belarusian delegation also included representatives of Belarusian industrial enterprises and organisations.

The program included visits to the industrial sector of Ulyanovsk Region.

Also, as part of his business visit, Sergey Nabeshko took part in a meeting at the Union ‘Ulyanovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry’, wh ere he held talks with the Head of the Chamber.

The participants exchanged views and proposals on solving topical issues, shared best practices and positive experience in their activities.

Alexander Yakunin, Chairman of the Union ‘Ulyanovsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry’, and Sergey Nabeshko discussed further interaction and development of business co-operation within the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
