From June 17 to 19, Minsk hosted a business mission of Moscow’s business community. The key event of the visit was a three-day series of direct B2B negotiations organized with the support of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event brought together representatives of more than 70 Belarusian companies, who held over 180 meetings with their Russian counterparts.
The business program focused on high-tech industries. Particular attention was given to industrial automation, software development, as well as projects in the fields of IT, telecommunications, MedTech, and biotechnology. The central theme of the mission was strengthening shared technological sovereignty and the practical implementation of import substitution projects.
The direct dialogue format enabled participants to promptly agree on the parameters of future partnerships and establish effective cooperation mechanisms. The parties thoroughly developed roadmaps for joint projects, ranging from infrastructure modernization and the development of secure IT systems to the upgrading of social infrastructure facilities. In addition, expert sessions addressed the legal aspects of compliance with EAEU standards and identified practical mechanisms for ensuring seamless cooperation.
