Presentation of the Investment Potential of the Sverdlovsk Region

The Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry announces a presentation of the trade, economic, and investment potential of the Sverdlovsk Region (Russia), to be held as part of the official visit of a delegation from the Sverdlovsk Region to the Republic of Belarus. The delegation will be headed by A.V. Shmykov, First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The event will take place on October 1 (Thursday), 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 8/8 Partizansky Avenue, Minsk. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.

The Sverdlovsk Region is one of Russia’s leading industrial, scientific, technological, and logistics centers. The region offers an extensive system of tax incentives through special economic zones (SEZs) and advanced development territories, as well as comprehensive project support from the regional government.

Participation in the event will enable Belarusian enterprises to establish direct contacts with the leadership and business community of one of Russia’s major industrial regions, expand their markets, develop sustainable import-substitution supply chains, and identify promising areas for joint investment projects.

The delegation, led by representatives of the regional government, includes companies operating in such sectors as mechanical engineering, instrument manufacturing, electronics and biometrics, metallurgy, digitalization, and environmental technologies.
