On the eve of the great holiday, the leadership of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI took part in a solemn memorial rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was held at the Obelisk to the Soldiers of the Soviet Army and Partisans who died during the liberation of Minsk in 1944.
The rally was attended by the head and members of the administration of the Leninsky District of Minsk, veterans, labor collectives, public figures, youth, and city residents. The solemn program included a theatrical performance that poignantly conveyed the feelings of mothers awaiting the return of their sons from the front, allowing the audience to deeply experience the pain of loss and the hope of wartime.
Those gathered honored the memory of the heroes with a minute of silence and laid flowers and wreaths at the memorial, expressing profound respect and gratitude to those who, at the cost of their lives, gifted peace and freedom to future generations.
Following a cherished tradition, in honor of the holiday, the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI congratulated internationalist warrior Aleksandr Maksimovich Troshkin.
We honor the memory of those who endured the trials of war while preserving hope and faith in victory. Their feat is our pride and eternal legacy.
We congratulate our colleagues, partners, and members of BelCCI on the great holiday — Victory Day!
