
On July 28, 2026, a meeting of the Belarusian-Tajik Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Brest.
Specifically, targeted B2B negotiations took place on the sidelines of the Brest branch. The event brought together over sixty representatives of the two countries' business communities. Belarusian and Tajik entrepreneurs discussed prospects for cooperation, exchanged proposals, and outlined concrete steps to develop mutually beneficial trade relations.
The Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised the above-mentioned event.
The parties summarised the results of their joint work and identified promising areas of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan.
Furthermore, within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission, a package of commercial agreements and cooperation documents between enterprises, business entities, educational institutions, and free economic zones of the two countries worth approximately $25.8 million was signed.
