Belarus – Sudan: 16-fold increase in trade turnover

In the conference hall of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a meeting of business circles of Belarus with the Appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Belarus Omer Elamin Abdall Fadlall took place.

Belarusian-Sudanese cooperation is stable and friendly. In less than a month, our countries will celebrate the 26th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. During this time, the states managed to establish a trust dialogue at the highest and highest levels. Just recently, in May 2025, Belarus was visited by a delegation of the Republic of Sudan headed by the Minister of Energy and Oil Muhyiddin al-Naim Said.

– According to the results of the last year, there is a 16-fold increase in trade between our countries. This shows that today Belarus and Sudan are interesting to each other, - noted in her welcoming speech the Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Elena Malinovskaya.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the work of Sudanese banks in international settlements, the implementation of the joint Belarusian-Sudanese project on the creation of a national analytical system for video surveillance of the territory of Sudan, the state of productive animal husbandry in Sudan and much more.
