
Continuing active work to promote Belarusian exports to the countries of the "far arc" and establishing bilateral cooperation the Minsk branch of BelCCI together with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, with the support of the Embassy of Belarus in Iran, organized a business visit to Tehran from 28 to 31 July.
On July 28, a meeting took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Dmitry Koltsov. As part of the meeting, the participants of the business visit were provided with information about the conditions and peculiarities of doing business in Iran, including the directions of activity of Belarusian enterprises.
As part of the visit on July 29, negotiations took place in the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture with the participation of Belarusian and Iranian enterprises in the areas of woodworking, furniture production, commercial refrigeration and technological equipment, and logistics. More than 40 Iranian companies took part in negotiations with representatives of Belarusian enterprises.
On July 30-31, members of the business delegation are scheduled to visit the international exhibition of paper products (paper, cardboard, pulp), industrial machinery for its processing (Iran PCCP) and the international furniture industry exhibition (HOFEX), as well as a visit to Iranian companies and negotiations with the administration and residents of the free-trade zone Маku.
As part of these events, the representatives of Belarusian enterprises will hold negotiations with Iranian companies about mutually beneficial cooperation options and the implementation of joint projects.
Signed by the Minsk branch of BelCCI in October 2023, Cooperation Agreement with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture enables the practical implementation in the exchange of business information in the field of foreign economic activity and search for potential partners. It facilitates joint projects, including conducting bilateral negotiations with the participation of the business of the two countries. The agreement contributes to the increase in mutual turnover and the development of Belarusian-Iranian business relations.
