
The Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) organized a business visit for representatives of the Belarusian enterprises to Guangzhou, aimed at expanding trade and economic partnerships with Chinese companies. The visit, held as part of a bilateral relations development strategy, included participation in the 137th Canton Fair and a series of meetings with key players in China’s innovation sector.

Participation in the Canton Fair
The Belarusian delegation held over 100 business meetings with Chinese manufacturers, focusing on:
o Supplies of high-tech equipment: Automated lathes, assembly lines, and industrial drones.
o Import of innovative construction machinery and energy-efficient household appliances.
o Joint production chains under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Tour of Innovation Bay Cluster (Nansha District)
The delegation explored the infrastructure of Innovation Bay—a strategic hub of the Greater Bay Area initiative, integrating Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong. Belarusian representatives:
o Learned about government support mechanisms for startups and foreign investments.
o Discussed integrating Belarusian IT solutions into Chinese tech projects.
o Studied the cluster’s ecosystem for business associations and R&D collaboration.
Meeting with Nansha District Leadership
A working session was held with Mr. Liu Wei, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Nansha District Committee. Key topics included:
o Prospects for establishing Belarusian company offices in Innovation Bay.
Outcomes of the Visit: Preliminary agreements were discussed with three Chinese manufacturers for the supply of industrial equipment.
“Guangzhou showcases impressive technological growth. The synergy between Belarusian engineering expertise and Chinese production capabilities will unlock new horizons for both nations,” emphasized the Belarusian delegation.
