Reception of a business delegation from Yueyang, Hunan Province

On June 18, 2024, the General Director of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI Sergei Nabeshko met with the Chinese delegation from Yueyang, Hunan Province.

The Chinese delegation, led by Liu Tiejian, Vice Chairman of the Yueyang People's Political Consultative Council (CPPCC), included Fu Qianzhou, Chairman of the Yueyang Subcommittee of the China International Trade Promotion Committee, and heads of various departments and committees of the Yueyang Political Consultative Council (CPPCC).

During the negotiations, promising areas of cooperation and key projects to promote investments from Yueyang in Belarus in the field of petrochemicals and agriculture were discussed.

Members of the delegation noted the high quality of Belarusian products and invited Belarusian enterprises to supply products to the Yueyang Trading House.

However, the discussion of cooperation was not limited only to economic aspects - the Chinese side also expressed interest in developing relations in the field of culture, which emphasizes the strengthening and expansion of ties between the two countries not only at the commercial but also at the cultural level, and gives additional depth to the interaction between the parties, creating basis for mutual growth.

During the meeting, the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Yueyang Subcommittee of the Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of China signed a Cooperation Agreement. According to the parties, this Agreement will contribute to the further development of business relations.
