On March 19, 2025, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted the seminar "Hong Kong: Advantages and Opportunities," conducted in a hybrid format. The event attracted over 100 representatives from businesses, government agencies, and experts to explore the potential for cooperation between Belarus and Hong Kong, as well as opportunities for Belarusian companies in Asian markets.
The seminar was opened by Sergey Nabeshko, the General Director of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of fostering international cooperation and highlighted Hong Kong's role as a key financial and trade center in Asia. Nabeshko also noted the significant contribution of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI in organizing joint events aimed at strengthening business ties between Belarus and Hong Kong.
Following his speech, he introduced the speakers, who shared their insights on cooperation prospects and opportunities for Belarusian businesses in the region.

She also detailed the practical support offered by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to help Belarusian businesses.
Kristina emphasized a successful example of cooperation: the visit of a delegation from Belarusian business circles to Hong Kong, organized by the Minsk branch of the BelCCI. This experience vividly illustrated how effective partnerships can open new horizons for business development on an international scale.
Leonid Orlov, Chief Consultant at Invest Hong Kong, presented an informative report titled "Advantages for Belarusian Businesses from Physical Presence in Hong Kong for Working in the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia." His speech was a significant highlight of the seminar, motivating participants to actively explore opportunities for expanding their businesses in the region. After the presentations, attendees had the chance to ask questions, deepening their understanding of the cooperation possibilities with Hong Kong.
The event concluded with a business networking session, providing participants the opportunity to discuss potential projects and forge new business connections. The coffee break created an informal atmosphere that encouraged communication and the sharing of experiences.
