Chairman Mikhael Miatlikov meets with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba Santiago Perez Benitez

Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov met with H.E.Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez.

The sides discussed topical issues of the Belarus-Cuba trade and economic interaction and opportunities for expanding contacts between business circles, the issues of interaction of the BelCCI with the Embassy and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Cuba, prospects for holding joint business events and participation of enterprises and organizations in exhibition projects of the two countries.

It was noted that Cuba is of great importance for Belarus, especially in view of its huge potential market and natural reserves of mineral resources. Machine building, dairy industry, pharmaceuticals and technology transfer in this sphere, tourism, as well as the supply of food products are seen as promising areas for cooperation.
