A delegation of the business community of the Republic of Belarus has concluded its visit to Ashgabat, organized by the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry jointly with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The mission resulted in a number of specific agreements in the food, furniture, and woodworking industries, as well as in the fields of instrument engineering and medical technologies.

The visit was timed to coincide with the 25th International Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat – 2026,” during which the Belarusian side held a series of targeted B2B negotiations with leading Turkmen enterprises engaged in foreign economic activity.

As part of the visit, meetings were also held with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, as well as heads of local enterprises.

The negotiations resulted in agreements on the supply of Belarusian furniture, interior doors, medical equipment, and blood pressure monitors to Turkmenistan. In addition, the Turkmen side expressed strong interest in purchasing Belarusian fiberboard, chipboard, and MDF products. Issues related to the export of Belarusian cellulose and modern street lighting systems are also being thoroughly explored.

An important part of the program was a meeting between members of the Belarusian delegation and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Turkmenistan, Stanislav Chepurnoy. The parties held substantive discussions on practical business opportunities and the specifics of doing business in Turkmenistan, as well as issues related to increasing mutual trade in goods.
