
In order to develop relations with partners fr om Turkey and maintain existing relations at a high level, the Minsk branch of the BelCCI, with the support of the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, organized a business visit to Istanbul for managers and specialists of Belarusian enterprises.
As part of the visit, Belarusian enterprises took part in the international exhibition of food and technology in Turkey “F Istanbul” from July 9 to 13, 2024. More than 5,000 foreign buyers, more than 93 visiting countries, more than 1,000 brands were presented at the Istanbul Expo Center.
Exhibition sections included:
1. Food and drinks;
2. Nuts and dried fruits, snacks;
3. Cookies, chocolate and confectionery;
4. Ingredients and packaging;
5. Trade equipment and store design.
With the assistance of the Minsk branch of the BelCCI, dairy products from the Grodno region were presented at the exhibition.
The participation of Belarusian companies in the F Istanbul exhibition once again emphasizes the importance of the strategic partnership with Turkey.
During their visit to Istanbul, the managers and specialists of Belarusian enterprises became acquainted with modern and promising trends in the development of financial and tax management systems, exchanged experience and information about current problems of tax and customs policy using the example of work and cooperation with the Republic of Turkey, and also found business partners.
All participants visited the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, wh ere Consul General Aleksei Shved answered their questions.
During the visit, meetings were held with company leaders, as well as the leadership of the MÜSIAD association.
During the meetings, the head of the delegation, the Deputy General Director for Foreign Economic Relations of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI Irina Ivanova reached agreements that the delegation of the Kocaeli Province will visit Minsk at the end of September 2024, and Turkish business will take part in the International Economic Forum, which will be held on September 13 this year and will gather friends and guests to celebrate Minsk City Day on September 13.
