Business visit of the Belarusian delegation to Hulunbuir (PRC): from examining production facilities to a protocol on agricultural machinery supplies

From September 7 to 11, 2026, the Brest Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a business visit to the City of Hulunbuir. The delegation included representatives from key enterprises of the Brest region's agro-industrial complex: OKUPTP “Brestoblagroservis”, OJSC “Bereza Motor Repair Plant”, and OJSC “Kobrinagromash”.

During the visit, the Belarusian side toured the production facilities of Chinese partner plants, examined the manufacturing processes for agricultural machinery and components, and discussed the practical aspects of establishing joint production within the Republic of Belarus.

During the negotiations, particular attention was paid to the direct supply of finished agricultural machinery and spare parts, which will help optimise logistics and reduce costs for Belarusian farmers.

The working visit culminated in the signing of a bilateral document formalising the parties' intentions to expand cooperation: a protocol of intent between OKUPTP “Brestoblagroservis” and Chinese manufacturers, providing for future deliveries of agricultural machinery.

The signed documents establish a legal framework for further efforts regarding production localisation, technology exchange, and the development of direct economic ties between enterprises in the Brest region and partners from Inner Mongolia.
