On October 20, 2025, the Minsk Branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized bilateral negotiations between the business communities of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Mordovia (Russian Federation).
The event opened with the participation of high-ranking guests: the Head of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the Minister of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus, Dmitry Kyiko.
The moderator was Sergey Nabeshko, General Director of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI, who noted the attention and active stance of the Russian region in developing cooperation. "I am confident that all this work will lead to the necessary results. Even now, the preparation for this event has led to the signing of major contracts totaling over 300 million Russian rubles," he emphasized.
The formal part resulted in Signing Ceremony of the following documents:
A Cooperation Agreement between AO "Stankostroitel" (Mordovia) and ЗАО "Osipovichi Transport Engineering Plant" (Belarus). The document aims to expand mutually beneficial relations, economic development, information exchange, and the implementation of joint projects.
A Goods Sales Agreement between AO "Medoborudovanie" (Mordovia) and OOO "Retvizan" (Belarus). The Agreement regulates the terms of exclusive cooperation, including volumes and delivery schedules for a specific territory.
The signing of these documents confirmed the practical focus of the negotiations and the parties' commitment to deepening industrial cooperation.
The official ceremony launched direct B2B negotiations. The Russian party was represented by heads of 13 companies from various economic sectors; approximately 100 meetings were held in total. Key areas of cooperation included:
● Lighting and electrical engineering;
● Machine building and instrument making;
● Chemical industry and polymer production;
● Medicine and pharmaceuticals;
● IT and digitalization;
● Production of industrial materials.
A distinctive feature of the event was its comprehensive program, which included both traditional on-site meetings and off-site negotiations at enterprises.
Following the Plenary Session, a meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Mordovia was held. It summarized the work results for 2025 and set tasks for 2026. The main discussion topics were:
● Development of the industrial sector and agricultural corporations;
● Cooperation in healthcare;
● Holding joint events for the development of youth and patriotic movements.
