The business program of the country’s largest agricultural exhibition, “Belagro 2026,” traditionally includes not only the presentation of the latest agricultural machinery and achievements of the agro-industrial sector, but also intensive negotiations on future cooperation.
At the exhibition venue, the leadership of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held meetings with delegations from partner organizations in Azerbaijan and several regions of the Russian Federation. The parties reviewed the preliminary results of bilateral trade and outlined specific steps to deepen cooperation in the second half of 2026.
Particular attention during the negotiations was devoted to preparations for the key business events of 2026, which are expected to become major meeting points for exporters and importers. The partners confirmed their participation in the following landmark events:
1. 13th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia (June 25–26, 2026). This will be the next major event to take place in Minsk and the Minsk Region. Participants will discuss issues of industrial cooperation, the development of new production chains, and import substitution.
2. International Economic Cooperation Forum (September 11, 2026). This event, which has already become a hallmark of Minsk, will traditionally be held as part of the City Day celebrations. The forum is expected to bring together representatives of government and business.
3. 2nd International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Belarus” (September 30 – October 2, 2026). This large-scale event, to be held at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre, will once again bring together industry leaders from the EAEU member states. The exhibition area will exceed 20,000 square meters, and leading companies in the mechanical engineering and technology sectors have already confirmed their participation.
The parties expressed confidence that systematic engagement through these platforms would not only strengthen existing ties but also lead to new contracts in the fields of industry and innovation.
“Belagro 2026,” which opened at the Minsk International Exhibition Centre on June 2 and will run through June 6, has become an effective platform for such strategic dialogue. The forum brings together 570 companies from 11 countries around the world.
