Notarization

We can notarize the translated document if needed.

Certified translation – it is the translation of documents and further notarization of the signature of the translator registered in the unified notarial register

Important! A notary does not certify that a translation is correct; he/she just certifies the signature of the translator or the authenticity of the document copy.

To notarize translation documents have to be prepared. Documents containing erasures, editions, crossed out words, and others, as well as executed with disregard of the rules and not complying with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus shall not be accepted. The standard requirements include the date and reference number, the signature of the head of the organisation, official stamp of the issuing authority. If the document contains several pages it should be bound and stitched in accordance with the rules.

Before ordering a certified translation please read the following information:

There are two options of the translator’s signature notarization (depending on the document type) on the documents translated into foreign language:

Option 1:

• make a copy

• notarize the copy

• translate the copy

• bind the copy and translation

• notarise the translation

Option 2:

• translate the original

• bind the original with translation

• notarise translation

To notarize the translation of the documents issued in foreign countries you should present an original of the document bearing an original stamp of the issuing organisation and signature of the authorized official or apostille and stamp of the consulate of the country of the document origin. This does not apply to documents issued in the countries, which are parties of the bilateral agreement concluded with the Republic of Belarus and which makes legalization not necessary.
